“The Mighty” Has a New Contributor: Check Out My First Piece!

The Mighty is a website dedicated to giving a voice to those who have a personal knowledge of mental or physical health challenges. Contributors include those afflicted, parents, and caretakers. Today, I join that brave crew with my first piece To The Husband Who Stands By Me Through Anxiety. I am grateful to have found my voice through my writing, and now I am even more fortunate to have another platform on which to share my story. You have read many posts, articles, essays, and stories about my pregnancies, miscarriages, and raising our rambunctious rainbow baby Evelyn. I have invited you into my life, sharing our joys and struggles, our peaks and valleys.

I encourage you to now follow me through down another tunnel on my twisting life journey. If you struggle with anxiety, suspect you might, or know of someone who does, I implore you to take a few minutes to read my piece. Sometimes hearing the words of others can speak to us, spark ideas, or be a beginning of something new–and sometimes it can heal. For this reason, I continue writing, sharing, and connecting.

Thank you for your support as I will never shy away from telling my truth. When on the website, please “follow” me as a contributor to stay connected with future pieces.  To The Husband Who Stands By Me Through Anxiety

I have been working on this memoir-style project for a while now, and I'm excited to share it with others. My hope is to get as wide an audience as possible, and to receive comments, suggestions, and ideas to improve and expand what I have. I also want to encourage others to become curious about the topic of babies, and the loss that can come with the adventures of trying to start a family. In the world of celebrating healthy babies, we who know otherwise need a voice too.
