Manuscript Editing Services
Pieces of writing should go through several rounds of editing to be prepared for distribution, publication, or declaring it as polished as possible. I offer two kind of editing services. This service is for those who have completed a draft of their writing projects. For other options, see my Book Coaching Services below.
NOTE: I do not offer copy editing services, though some copy edits occur naturally during line editing.

Book Coaching
Sometimes as writers, we need help getting the motivation to keep working on our projects. having an accountability system in place can be just the thing you need to keep working on that story, memoir, novel, dissertation, Substack, or whatever else has become your passion project!
To fit every budget, I offer two options to choose from:

| Accountability Option A ($25/week): This is perfect for those who don’t have a large budget for coaching, are early in their projects, or aren’t looking for a lot editorial feedback. Includes: Accountability Checks–send me your new work up to once a day with the goal of having new work each week. In-Person Meetings In person or via Zoom, we’ll set a weekly time slot just for you! These 30-minute check-ins will be your chance to ask questions and hear my thoughts on your progress and work. |
| Accountability Option B ($50/week): Looking for weekly accountability and editorial feedback? This is a great option for you! Designed for those who are generating work consistently, want to share a project in parts, and/or are looking for professional guidance on their writing. Includes: Accountability Checks–send me your new work up to once a day with the goal of having new work each week. In-Person Meetings In person or via Zoom, we’ll set a weekly time slot just for you! These 30-minute check-ins will be your chance to ask questions and hear my thoughts on your progress and work. Personalized Written Feedback–I’ll provide higher order editing suggestions (developmental in nature) such as feedback on plot, character development, scene writing, and more. You’ll also receive line edits, meaning I’ll make suggestions on ways to clean up sentences, vary the structure, note repetitiveness in word choice, etc. |
