Keeping our precious Sophia, Baby Two, and Baby G in my thoughts today, as always. There isn’t a day that goes by when they don’t consume the majority of my thoughts, weaving their presence into everything I do, say, see. The pain lingers, behind my smiles, laughs, and “normal” life. As today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, please keep all the angel babies out there in your thoughts. This one day, and one month of October, isn’t nearly enough to provide justice to the struggle the universe puts our babies through. Let it bring on conversation, empathy, and compassion between those who know this loss and those who mercifully don’t. It is a start. We have a long way to go. My candle is lit for my three, and for the million others.

I also want to encourage others to become curious about the topic of babies, and the loss that can come with the adventures of trying to start a family. In the world of celebrating healthy babies, we who know otherwise need a voice too. View more posts
